Why Modular?
  1. Modular construction offers a superior built home at a more affordable price in a shorter time.
  2. Modular homes are built in a climate controlled environment, eliminating, mold and other material degradation problems.
  3. Modular construction provides quality control standards similar to other factory produced items like automobiles. The typical modular home goes through 80+ internal quality control inspections during the course of construction.
  4. Modular construction provides cost controls and eliminates cost overruns. Unlike site built construction, modular construction does not suffer from job site theft or material degradation due to weather or mishandling. The modular units typically account for over 50% of the finished cost of the home. This 50% of cost is locked in the day the home is ordered, greatly minimizing potential cost over runs.
  5. Modular homes offer a quicker turn around to occupancy, typically less than one-half the time of site built housing. Modular homes are often ready to move into just eight to twelve weeks from the time they are delivered.
  6. Modular homes are built stronger than site built homes. Modular homes typically contain 20% more framing material than site built homes. This extra framing strengthens and stiffens the units in order for them to be shipped hundreds of miles to the site and then hoisted by a crane.
  7. On an apples-to-apples basis modular construction is typically 15% to 20% more cost effective than traditional site built housing. The primary reason for this savings is the tremendous efficiencies inherent in modular construction. The typical modular home goes from a stack of lumber to a nearly complete home in just 6-7 days.

What About Pricing?

We do not quote prices on our website due to the fact that pricing can vary widely depending on the size and finish level of the home built. We also find that every builder quotes projects differently in terms of what is included or excluded. Our homes are priced very competitively when compared to other reputable builders on an apples-to-apples basis. We are happy to tell you exactly what any other completed home in our portfolio cost to build and what was included in that price. Lastly, we believe that modular construction generally results in a 15% to 20% cost savings over traditional site built construction.
